Helicon Collection Care is an innovative and dynamic organization dedicated to heritage institutions and private collection owners. We advise, guide, and support them in the management and preservation of cultural heritage. We do this with passion and from the conviction that heritage must be sustainably preserved for future generations.

Helicon is a company with a challenging growth path ahead of us. We will be moving to a new building in Alphen aan den Rijn at the end of the first quarter of 2026, which will be built and furnished entirely in accordance with our KEEP! concept. Over 4,000 m² has been reserved for the high-quality storage of heritage.

We are looking for an Operational Planner to help further professionalize our organization and bring structure to operations.

  • Developing, monitoring, and adjusting staffing and project planning.
  • Identifying bottlenecks and capacity issues, proactively managing these.
  • Coordinating the deployment of people, resources, and time on our projects.
  • Coordinating this deployment with project coordinators, consultants, and external partners (clients, suppliers, subcontractors).
  • Monitoring processes and structures to ensure efficient business operations.
  • Performing supporting office management tasks (e.g., general correspondence and facility management).

Who are you?
You’re a structured organizer who thrives on creating clarity and solving planning challenges. You have strong communication skills, easily connect with colleagues and external partners, and know how to balance different interests.

You also bring:

  • Several years of experience in a similar role (planning, operations, and/or project support). Experience with or an affinity for the heritage sector and conservation is a plus.
  • A keen eye for organization, processes, and efficiency: you combine a practical approach with process-oriented insight.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to identify opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken).
  • Political awareness: you recognize sensitivities and handle them effectively.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (experience with planning or ERP systems is a plus).
  • Excellent spoken and written Dutch skills (minimum B2 level).

What do we offer?

  • We offer a versatile position with significant responsibility and a direct contribution to the further professionalization of our organization.
  • A competitive salary commensurate with your knowledge and experience.
  • Pension accrual, 25 vacation days, and 2 flexible days (full-time basis).
  • A one-year temporary contract with a one-month probationary period and the prospect of a permanent position.
  • A dedicated team, an inspiring work environment, and a shared lunch.
